ABOUT US
Blue Nile Children's Organization (BNCO) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working with orphaned children and their communities in Bahir Dar and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. An almost all-volunteer staff at BNCO's headquarters in Seattle, U.S.A., lead an international community of supporters to maintain and expand programs that respond to these communities' needs. Currently, these consist of a Sponsorship Program and a Medical Center and Education Program. BNCO also has international NGO status in Ethiopia, and employs local professionals who implement these programs and integrate them into the community. While we work to provide for over 70 orphans currently in our care, it is our desire to also help educate the community in order to prevent more children from being orphaned.
BNCO is constantly looking for new and innovative ways to help our sponsored children and their communities.
GET INVOLVED
* Help recruit new sponsors for our Sponsorship Program
* Volunteer at the office or with a fund-raising project
* Host a Coffee Ceremony
* Canvass at local businesses to raise support, awareness and funds
* Donate to the Medical Center and Health Education Project using the "Please Donate" button at the top of the page.
