ABOUT US

Blue Nile Children's Organization(BNCO) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working with orphaned children in Bahir Dar and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Headquartered in Seattle, WA, BNCO works to raise money in the states to support our Sponsorship Program and Medical Center and Education Program in Ethiopia. BNCO also works with the local community to promote education on preventive methods for infectious diseases. While we work to provide for the 58 orphans currently in our care, it is our desire to also help educate the community in order to prevent more orphans.

Many other non-profits work to create change in Addis Ababa Ethiopia and it is our plan to work as partners with these organizations in order to strengthen the communities where our children live. BNCO also works with the Ethiopian Government and Ministry of Health by helping to extend their reach into the communities. In doing this we receive their support, and help supplies reach the poorer part of the population.
