Richard Oslund Memorial Clinic
Blue Nile Children's Organization built and operates the Richard Oslund Memorial Clinic (ROMC), which provides medical services to the community of Kolfe-Keranio on the outskirts of Addis Ababa (map) near where many of BNCO's sponsored orphans live. Construction was funded by many generous donors, but especially Richard Oslund, who left a large gift to BNCO to start the clinic.
Construction began in 2008, and the clinic opened its doors full time in 2010.
